Blunt Bros - Also not for the weak-of-stomach. We can’t say much more (and we would never endorse!) so you’ll have to do your own research on this one.

Chinatown Night Market Weekend night - market in the second-largest Chinatown in North America, runs May – September. The only place in town where you can buy DVDs of movies the same day they come out in the theatres. Not that we condone that sort of thing. Great bubble tea, too. http://www.vcma.shawbiz.ca/home_e.htm

Folk Fest July - 13, 14, and 15 are the dates this year, and if you wanna find a place to sleep in Vancouver during this time, you better book now! Serious. Stop reading this and make a reservation. Then go to the website and get tickets for Vancouver’s biggest music festival.

Wreck Beach Vancouver ’s one and only, original, many-imitate-but-no-one-duplicates, clothing-optional beach. Granted, it’s a bit of a hike to get there (literally), and worse coming back, but by that point you won’t care. http://www.wreckbeach.org/

Mountain Equipment Co-op Good clean consumer fun. A mecca for the outdoorsy set.

Nightlife on Granville Vancouver’s Entertainment District is packed Thurs, Fri, and Sat – but there’s something going on every night of the week. Check out $3 Tuesdays at The Royal.
